Abstract:
Audio-visual resources are
non-print instructional materials that command the attention of
dual sense organs to promote effectiveness in teaching and
learning process. They are the product of advanced technology,
some of which usually require special equipment to operate,
(Adebowale, and Adekanye, 2013). Audio-visual resources include
television, computer and films and the like. These resources are
capable to ensure effective teaching which improves skill
acquisition and retention among learners especially at the prime
level. The use of audio-visual resources in teaching and
learning will move teaching method from rote method (teacher
center method) to a more innovative and enriched method known as
“child center method”. Child center method of teaching is a
method used in conquering the limitations characterizing the
traditional method of teaching. Child center method makes a
child an active participant in a classroom setting as it
encourages pleasurable learning through the use of audio-visual
resources and other instructional devices.

ABSTRACT:
All the nations
are fighting single-handed to defeat poverty and unemployment
but they can do nothing separately. The people will have to be
international minded giving up narrow national outlook. They
will have to co-operate with one-another in defeating poverty
and unemployment. The feeling of nationalism must be changed
into internationalism. A concern of universal brotherhood
friendliness and good will must prevail. As soon as this feeling
arises in our mind, the problem of international understanding
will arise itself. Students should feel that they are the
members of one world, one community. They should be encouraged
to practice tolerance, mutual help and respect for others. The
feeling of world citizenship is to be fostered among students
through co-curricular activities in school. This article is an
attempt to flash some light on Education for International
Understanding. There are some of the ways and means of
organising education for promoting the feelings of
internationalism and the teacher plays a very vital role in
contributing international understanding.

An
Economicstudy for competitiveness of the EgyptianPotato
exports in the foreign
markets

Abstract:
Foreign trade plays a major and important role in the Egyptian
national economy, as export is considered an essential pillar in
providing sources of foreign currency. Export developing is the
most important challenges face the Egyptian. The problem of the
research is that Egyptian potato exports suffer from
fluctuations in both quantity and value in recent years. The
research ended to some results, such as: the average quantity of
Egyptian production of potatoes amounted to 1.07% of the global
production which amounted to about 341 million tons, during
(2000-2021). The value of Egyptian potato exports of vegetables
amounted to about $743 million, representing 23% from the total
of the Egyptian agricultural exports value. Russian Federation
markets Lebanese, they imported about 67.5% from the Egyptian
potato exports with value equal to about 66.2% during
(2017-2021). Egypt had the greatest market share in Russian,
Greece and Lebanese markets, but France had the greatest market
share in Italian market. Egypt has an advantage better China,
Belarus and Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation market. The
price demand elastiaty of the Egyptian potato refers to an
increase by 1% in Egyptian price by 1%will reduce the demand an
Egyptian potatoes in Russian, Italian and French markets to
about 1,268%, 2,532% and 1,461%, respectively. This means it is
a commodity. Increase price in Greece market by 1% will lead to
decrease the demand on the Egyptian potatoes by about 0.196%. It
is inelastic commodity.

Abstract:
Prostaglandins are a group of 20-carbon fatty acids produced
from arachidonic acid via the cyclooxygenase pathway in response
to extrinsic stimuli (Smith 1989, 1992; Smith et al.,1991; Smith
et al., 2011). Prostanoid biosynthesis (including classical
prostaglandins PGD,PGE and PGF, as well as prostacyclins and
thromboxanes) proceeds in three stages: (1) extrinsic
stimuli-activated mobilization of esterified arachidonate from
precursor lipids in the cell membrane through the action of
lipases, (2) conversion of arachidonate to the prostaglandin
endoperoxide (PGH2) mediated by PGH synthases, and (3)
cell-specific isomerization or reduction of PGH2 by specific
synthases (isomerases) or reductases to the major biologically
active prostanoids PGD2, PGE2, PGF2α, prostacyclin (PGI2), or
thromboxane A2 (TXA2; Figure1, modified from Smith, 1992; Smith
et al., 2011). Prostaglandins are local hormones (i.e.
autocoids; Smith 1989, 1992; Smith et al., 1991). Infused PGE
and PGF derivatives fail to survive a single pass through the
circulatory system. Their synthesis is not restricted to a
central endocrine organ, but rather occurs in most organs,
although not necessarily in all cell types. The plasma
concentrations of these compounds, except in rare situations,
are less than 10-9M, a concentration normally unable to elicit
responses.

DIVINITY AS THE MANIFESTATION OF NATURE AND MAN THE GITANJALI

Email:

Abstract:
“The poems of „the Gitanjali‟ are
offerings of the finite to the infinite.”1 it is poetry of the
highest order, poetry which very nearly approaches the condition
of prophecy. In the words of T.S. Eliot it is great poetry
which, “expresses in perfect language permanent human impulses”,
and thus brings strange consolation to the human heart. In such
works poetry becomes a revelation, an incantation, that flashes
open the inner reality. It is poetry in which men converse with
eternity. As a matter of fact Gitanjali is a great work of art,
and as such a number of themes and ideas are woven together to
make up its complex texture. Its hundred and odd lyrics explore
(1)‟ the relationship of God and the human soul (2) of God and
Nature, (3) of Nature and the human soul, and (4) of the
individual soul and humanity. These four themes are not kept
strictly separate, they frequently run into each other, fuse and
mingle.

Study on Impact Assessment of COVID-19 on Indian Agriculture and
Rural Economy

H. No. 123A/14, Kirpal Nagar, Rohtak-124001, Haryana (India)
Email:

Abstract:- The COVID-19 pandemic has
occurred at a time when the global and Indian economic growth
was already expected to decelerate. The last few quarters have
witnessed a moderation of growth rate of the Indian economy,
with quarterly growth in GVA declining from 7.63% in Q4 in
2017-18 to 3.04% in Q4 of 2019-20. The declining trend may have
become more severe due to COVID-19, as indicated by many
factors. For instance, recently released estimates by Govt of
India indicate that production in the eight core sectors of our
economy contracted for the third month in a row, with output
declining 23.4 per cent in May 2020. Overall growth has been
adversely affected in most core sectors, apart from fertilisers.

Abstract:
Many Egyptian farmers usually
get rid of secondary plant products (SPP) as waste. So, the
study is assessing the economic and environmental impact of
using the SPP, particularly wood fuel sorghum, in the production
of organic fertilizers (compost) in the Saliheya village, Fayoum
governorate. Both descriptive and quantitative statistical
analysis methods were used. Also, the financial feasibility of
one of the governorate projects was estimated. Data from the
Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and the Public
Authority for Environmental Affairs, both published and
unpublished, were used. In addition, a questionnaire addressed
to the selected project was used to obtain specific technical
aspects and data on prices and costs to determine its financial
feasibility. The present results showed that the total
production of the wood fuel sorghum SPP of the crops studied in
the Fayoum Governorate for 2020 represents 17.35% of the total
Arab Republic of Egypt (ARE) sorghum SPP. The current study
concluded that the governorate's level of benefiting from the
SPP, and its financial feasibility was approximately 38%, with a
6-year recovery period. This paper recommends the expansion of
the compost projects by establishing about three hundred
projects all over the governorate due to their profitability and
their ecological effect on the environment. It also recommends
scattering the projects all over the governorate in between the
agricultural lands where every project will serve about a
million square meters (250 Fadden).
